Maria Morgan Design Studio is a residential interior design practice based in Notting Hill. We work on apartments, townhouses and period homes across Prime Central London, guided by one principle: cleaner lines and the greatest possible natural light. Our work brings together spatial planning, bespoke joinery, natural materials, kitchen and bathroom design direction, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) specification and procurement.
Projects are turnkey. We bring together carefully selected, highly experienced UK specialists, including independent architects, surveyors, solicitors, contractors, lighting and technology engineers and kitchen specialists, around a single interior-design vision. London apartments hold more light than they are often given credit for. Our first instinct on every project — whether a Notting Hill townhouse, a Bayswater flat, or a period apartment in Kensington — is to find it, free it, and let it lead the design. Our Approach
Every London home has the potential to feel bigger, brighter, and more considered than it currently does. We begin by understanding the light — how it moves through the space, where it can be amplified, and what it asks of the architecture. From there, we work with the building, not against it: spatial planning, bespoke finishes, and a turnkey service coordinated with independent specialists, so the process is as considered as the result.

Full spatial planning for London apartments and houses — proportion, light, and material resolved from first principles, not applied as afterthought.
Licence to Alter
Coordination of the interior-design information needed for licence to alter applications, working with the client's solicitor and architect.
FF&E Procurement
Furniture, fixtures and equipment specified, sourced and tracked through to delivery as part of suitable design commissions.
